Colombia Investing provides investment banking services through its affiliated company El Dorado Capital ("EDC"). EDC is very selective about the projects for which it arranges capital, and most of the time a business relationship with the client already exists before an advisory engagement starts.
EDC provides advisory, brokerage and asset management services for capital in real estate, technology, media and infrastructure. Minimum project capital raises are US $10 MM with a maximum of US $ 500 MM. In almost all cases, the project or company's product/service will include a special relationship with local markets in Colombia and/or its regional partners where EDC feels it is well-suited to communicate the investment prospects and risks to potential capital sources.
